How the Trailer setup works.

The blaster and a diesel-powered air compressor form one mobile setup on a trailer. You drive to the job and work without an external compressed air supply.

How it works

From compressed air to the nozzle.

Example values refer to the SB-500 Trailer — our flagship model.

  1. Compressor control panel with pressure gauges, indicator lights and ignition switch.
    01

    Compressed air

The diesel-powered compressor produces the air needed for work. The setup needs no external compressed air supply.

  2. Top of the blasting vessel with its lid open and sieve visible.
    02

    Media metering

The blaster feeds blasting media into the air stream. On the SB-500 Trailer the tank holds 150 kg and media consumption is 5–60 kg/h.

  3. Blasting nozzle at a wooden door laid on a pallet.
    03

    Hose and nozzle

The stream travels through the hose to the nozzle. The SB-500 Trailer works with up to 200 m of hose and nozzles up to 12 mm in diameter.

    04

    Operator work

The operator guides the nozzle over the surface, controlling distance and angle. The Base Package includes a control cable, water hose and blast hose of 15 m each.

Blasting media

Multi-media blasting: soda, sand and glass beads.

Three types of blasting media in one setup mean a wider range of services for your customers. We cover choosing the right media for each job during training.

  • Soda

Soda blasting opens up work on more delicate surfaces: vehicle bodies, wood, façades and details.

  • Sand

Sand blasting for hard surfaces and thick coatings, for example on steel structures.

  • Glass

Glass beads or crushed glass for work where an even surface finish matters.

Settings

Full control over the result.

Five settings that let you adapt the work to steel, wood, brick or car bodies. You learn to use them during hands-on operator training.

  • Blasting media

    Type, hardness and grain size.

  • Nozzle

Diameter and shape: round or flat.

  • Pressure and dosage

The amount of media in the air stream.

  • Distance and angle

How far from the surface and at what angle the nozzle is held.

  • Water addition

    A water adapter or a water-mix nozzle.
